Do you play board games with your friends or family?
Do you have a family game night? If so do you play board games or just video games?
What are your favorite board games?
Before my son was born we had a family game night every week. Sometimes we would play games on the Wii or gamecube, but most of the time we would play board games.
We really like to play Scrabble and a game called Word Thief. We also play boggle and scattergories a lot.
My husband even has a lot of OLD board games based on movies from when he was a child, and we play them a lot.

My favourite board game is trivial pursuit. When I was a child I often played against my father and my brother and we always had a good time. My mother doesn't like games, and she never wanted to join us, but the rest of us enjoyed board games and card games. Some time ago my husband and I bought a trivial pursuit game about the 90's. We thought that it would be pretty easy to answer the questions, but we were wrong, the 90's is not that long ago, but we had actually forgotten many of the things already. We still enjoyed playing the game though.

We play trivial pursuit, but none of us are really good at it. The sports questions throw us off every time.
We have a running joke. If we don't know the answer we just say "Frank Sinatra" because one night it seemed like EVERY answer was Frank Sinatra.

When I was a kid, I played a lot of board games with my friends, family and relatives, such as Monopoly, Scrabble, Snakes and Ladders, Game boards, Checkers and of course my favorite, Chess. It cannot be played without companion before, but in modern days, you can play them alone through computer and internet. I still love playing chess now. Well, board games are really a good past time and can create a good bonding with your family and friends. Have a nice day! Happy myLotting!

I've tried chess, but just can't wrap my brain around it, much to my husbands dismay. He wants someone to play against. Good thing he can play against computers sometimes.

Usually when my sister and her husband and kids come to visit we play games. We played 4 games in the last few days. We played Apples to Apples, Gestures, and Catch phrase and another game whose name is something like Gestures, but slightly different. We had a good time we all laughed a lot at ourselves mostly. I think game playing with a group of people is always really fun.

Board games are fun to play we just played some on Christmas and Christmas Eve. Wehad a great time and we eneded lauging a lot through out the evenings that we played them, they were challenging yet fast and fun. The grownup sometimes acted like children and was fun to just let go and play a game and have some fun while challenging our selves at the same time.

We laugh the hardest together when we play Scattergories. Sometimes its almost like we're having a contest who can come up with the silliest, yet still valid, answers.

My family realized that too much of technology around our home makes us strangers and keeps us distant from each other. So, we decided to get rid of our TV and introduce board games instead. At first we all were kind of suspicious if it is going to work or not. But on our great surprise it worked quite well and we really liked it. We also descovered how each of our family members is quite competitive, so the excitement is present from the beginning of the game.
Our favorite games are Monopoly and African Star. The only time we can enjoy playing board games together is weekend. So on Friday afternoon we stop our daily activities and agree upon what game to play. A great way to spend time with my family.
