Admin for a Day: myLot News and Blogs!

hi alice I really like the news as I am so into mylotting I often miss the news so can catch up here. I have never checked the blogs as I am ashamed to admit as old as I am I know absolutely nothing about the blogs. The only thing I would like to be different is once more the slow loading problem on every page.it gets really tedious.

I am so sorry, I have't checked the news in a long time and also the blog. I will take a look and let you know in some time if I find some ideas.

Hi Alice. I like the blogs but not the frames. You know the mylot frame that cuts into so much of the page? It turns me off of reading the article. Maybe if it was a few more inches closer to the left side instead of so far out in the middle. Hope I was clear!

I think the news and blogs pages are really cool cause I can get caught up on the news especially if I don't get around to checking it on yahoo or the newspaper website for my city. I will comment on the news if it catches my interest and I have something to say.

Hello Alice. I have on occasion responded to some news that I find interesting. I think the news section is a good source of information for those of us whose home page is myLot right away. I have never checked out the blogs yet. I might do in the future, as I am starting to run my own blogsite.

Do you check the blogs and news? I love reading the news pages, but I admit I have not check out the blogs that often yet... I did have my news blog submitted for awhile.. It still is there I think but I am in the process of relocating it..so I need to update it.. Do you participate in the blogs and news? Any News Article from mylot I share with my blog I respond to ... Any news I read.. whether it is a small comment or a long one.. Is there anything you don’t like about these pages? Anything you’d like to be different? Tell me everything! Just the same thing I would like to see all along mylot faster load times, and smaller taking up of RAM .. or space. Hi Alice! I think that the myLot news and blogs are very well done. When I was more active on here I used to visit them each day. Maybe I should take up where I left off. Anyway, welcome aboard, and I'm sure it will be great working with you.

I submitted my blog but never got an answer as to whether it was accepted. I'm guessing it didn't because I haven't seen it in the blog section. I don't pay much attention to the news section. I'd dump that sortie but every now and then a story will catch my eye.

Hello I sometimes read the news and blogs here I just find some of the blogs rather long. So I really just like to respond and start discussions with friends all around the world! I find it so interesting and I have so much fun here on this site!

2018 - Nine years later. Laughing because I didn't even know there was a Blog or News page. Might I ask if they still exists?

I've never tried the blogs so I don't know much about them but I have done the news and like reading what's going on. The only problem with the news articles that I know of is that I don't receive a notification when someone comments on my response to a news article. Other than that it works fine. Honestly, the home page and the blogs aren't much use to me - I have tried to edit the blogs to be of interest, but they just mostly bore me, and the home page mostly seems like a waste of time too - I generally go right to my notifications and maybe hit profile pages, but the "home" page to me is just a waste of space and, as I said, I can't seem to find blogs that interest me either - I may look at the home page every other month. And since I've been here for almost 4 years... well, they aren't much use to me

I enjoy blogs and news because you learn things you did not know and you are kept up to date.

I like Blogging a Lot and i have my personal technical blogs.Well i have a grievance here MyLot i have tried to claim my blogs n number of time to no use.Can you help? Also if possible the instructions to add blogs can be much simplified. I have had many problems adding my RSS feed from ATOM here. Please... Also not many people are bothered about terms and conditions.. may we take the opportunity via this discussion if MyLOT BLOGS EARN?

ello i think some blogs r quite interesting, altho i dont read the news section very often but it is worth reading at times.. some blogs and some sections of the news r pretty cool. i dont think i would choose to really change much in those sections there interesting to me

I personally find it very interesting and it is really something i look forward to.
