Hello myLot! I want to know what you did for Christmas. Who did you celebrate it with? What gifts did you receive? What are some of your traditions for Christmas? If you don't celebrate this holiday, what do you normally do during this time frame? How do you celebrate it? What did you do? Normally we spend two days to celebrate. On Christmas day we go to grandma's house, and then on 26 Dec we go to my brother's house and celebrate. I love the food and spending time with family and friends. I received money, clothes, and a gift card to iTunes. I want to spend the money to buy iPod Touch. Thanks for spending time on myLot. Cheers, and have a nice day.

We celebrated in Three days to be honest and still aren't done with the gift giving. My husband and I came home where his mother hosted (she and my FIL own where we live) a small get together with her parents and us. We ate and opened presents. The day before we opened presents to one another, but On Christmas eve we exchanged gifts with hubby's grandparents. Then Christmas day we went to his great grandmother's, today to his brother's... and we still need to get together with my father. I received video games, pajamas, sox, a shirt, a mug, a bag of coal bubble gum, and $50.00. I can list the video games if your interested.

Wow! I love that type of food: chicken and dumplings. Then you got lots of games for your Wii, that's great. Do you buy video games a lot? We don't have any video game system. Enjoy your gifts.

Hahah, what type of food did you have? OOH, so you paint in oil paints. Well, that's interesting! I like arts, and I used to do a lot in high school. People always said I would do a lot with art. I have a lot of respect for arts, really. What type of laptop do you have?

Cool! Do you know the specifics of your Acer laptop? I guess it has Windows 7, right? How do you like Windows 7? I have Windows Vista and Windows XP. I changed them to look more like Windows 95 (Classic). I don't like all that fancy stuff, hehe.

We had a little of everything..his family each brought a dish. Ham..potatos, veggies, two or three different types of dessert. I have a Acer laptop. It is a little bigger than what I wanted but I can do just about anything with it.

I actually was so happy because I got some much needed clothes from my mom. I love clothes and she almost always gets me cute clothes she finds for gifts for the holidays or my birthday. I like that I dont have to buy clothes that often since she gets me them. I also got a gift card to fashion bug for $50 from my mother and father in law. That is always awesome to get a gift card since I can use it on whatever I want. Fashion bug only has clothes and purses. But that still leaves a lot of great stuff for me to choose from. I just bought a pair of pants the other day there. With the gift card it has a coupon for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more. So basically if I find something for $10 there it will be free. woo hoo!!!

That's cool! . You got lots of clothes. Do you not have a lot of clothes? It seems like I have tons of clothes. I always try to donate a few clothes a year because I have so many. Hehehe. I know about fashion bug, some of my female friends and relatives love that store. I love coupons to get money off, right? Take care and happy myLotting.

Wow you're a real bargain hunter then. I like to go shopping at various places, but I think my favorite place to go for clothes is through eBay you can find a lot of clothes that way. Yard sales are good, too.

I tend to wear the same things over and over again. I dont really have that many clothes that I really like or that fit really well. Almost all the clothes I have I either received as gifts, got a bag sales where you can get a garbage bag of clothes for $2, yard sales or places you can go to get free clothes for the family. I dont have much money to spend on things so I try to avoid buying clothes as often as possible. I dont pay more then $5 for pants and shirts no more then $3. Its very hard to find clothes for those prices that are my size and look nice. You have to really search the sale racks and hope for your size. Before getting the gift cards to fashion bug I hadent really been to that store to shop very often. The prices I think are pretty high but when they have sales you can find things very low priced. They used to sell junior sizes but they dont any longer just misses and womens and plus sizes. I fit into junior sizes much better so I was very dissapointed when they stopped selling juniors. Misses dont fit as well. I like the bra and panties they sell their as well as some of their jeans. A few weeks back when I bought the pants there I literally tried on 10 different pairs of pants before I settled on one that I liked the way it fit on me.

I got a PS3 Slim 120GB for Christmas. I got it early after Thanksgiving during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday buzz so I could get two free games. I also received a journal and a t-shirt. We don't really have any traditions for Christmas. Usually we just stay home but this year I went to a ski resort with my whole family. I went snowboarding with my cousins and there was even a concert which was fun to watch. I had great food over Christmas also because we came prepared! We didn't buy a single meal at the ski resort. I wanted a PS3 but am wondering if I was right to get it. Its not what I hoped for and I was disappointed by it and its games.

That sucks that they don't let you play all of the PS2 games on the PS3 Slim. Do you think you will return the PS3 Slim or sell it? I've done that before when I didn't like something. Or do you think it's possible to buy just a regular PS3? Or does it not allow for all the other PS3 games either? Umf! They make some things so complicated, right?

Cool! Sounds like a nice Christmas at Ski resourt, although I don't know how to ski or snowboard, but I'm sure I could learn, right? What don't you like about PS3 Slim? Why did you want it? What are the advantage or disadvantages to the PS3 Slim?

I didn't know either but I learned to snowboard two years ago so it was easier to relearn and advance. Well, for one, it doesn't have PS2 backward compatibility which I would love to have. Second, it doesn't have any good, fun platformers like Jak and Daxter for PS2. I don't like Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted and inFamous are overhyped in my opinion. I don't like FPS so there isn't much for me to look forward to. I just want a Jak and Daxter game and Star Wars Battlefront 3 for PS3. I haven't played it much and wished I just had gotten more PS2 games as I won't be able to play my PS3 much anyway.

For Christmas, we just had a nice little service at home to celebrate my parents' anniversary. We got to eat a lot beforehand and we watched some home videos. Afterwards, we passed out the presents to our guests and to each other, then we opened them. I didn't get too many presents but I don't mind. I got a shirt, a vest, some more things that I don't really want to mention, some money, and I got a webcam from a close friend of mine. For Christmas, we usually put up our tree and decorate it. If we get any presents or we wrap presents for others, we place it under the tree until it's time to open it or give it to them. We usually try to wait until Christmas to open any presents we have.
