Can you remember when you first used youtube?

Was it once it had gotten big?
Did you upload or watch something? How did you find out about?
I first found youtube when a friend had uploaded home videos on it, and I use to watch them. Later I created my own and uploaded them, this was before I was bought by google.
Can you even remember the first time? What is the oldest memory you have of the website?

Hi chubit! The first time I used youtube was about 3 years ago I think. The first video that I watched was the "Evolution of Dance." It was quite entertaining. I remembered that youtube's viewing screen is just small and not widescreen. The next videos that I have watched were videos from the "Backdorm boys." Very funny indeed. I just signed up for an account about a year ago but haven't uploaded any videos. Happy mylotting!

Hi! I knew about the site when it was featured in NHK, a broadcasting channel here in my country. About the videos, "Evolution of Dance" was featured on youtube's homepage before so I got curious about it. And about the "Backdorm boys," my online chinese friend introduced me the video. Youtube has reached it's success. Just from a simple video sharing site, now a gigantic one! ^_^

I remember I started using youtube when my little brother was showing me videos on there that were funny. I from then started getting hooked especially when I saw people uploaded old school music videos and anime. Now I watch everything from how to videos to watching kittens swimming in water.

3 years ago I spent a lot of time on a Danish forum, and there was a category about music. In this category there were many discussions about music videos from Youtube, and many people added links to Youtube. At that time I had another computer, and I didn't have any speakers or headphones, so I wasn't able to listen to the music. I was sad about that, because the links looked interesting. When I finally got some headphones I was really excited and I couldn't stop listening to new and old music videos

I thik musi videos was what got everyone into youtube,
it was like this amazing resource of all your favourite music.. And all the music you forgot you liked. ^^
Oh and i also did not have speakers or head phones for my computer for a very long time!
These days that sounds odd, but I went months without, odd really how things change.

When I first discover on how to use the internet, I remember I've always wanted to watch everything on youtube, especially the music videos of my favorite singers.. It really made me entertained. Because you can find almost all of the videos you want to see on you tube.
