Well, for the first time I decided to put out a task. I received a reply, that the task had been completed. I look and find that I have completely been lied too. Anyone have this happen? So frustrating I had offered a good amount of payment and clearly stated, the requirements and the person just completely lied that they had completed the task. The had done nothing!

Ok, the link for where you are suppose to sign up for the task?
Or a link here on Mylot, for letting me know you have done the task?

I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I am still new here so I'm not sure how posting tasks works really, but a few of the tasks I have completed have asked for information proving that I completed it. If you decide to put out a task in the future, isn't there some way for you to verify that it has been completed? Have you tried contacting support and seeing if they can help you? I know I'm not much help, but again, I'm sorry that a liar cheated you.

Oh, I did not pay them. I was able to tell, that they did not actually do the task. I am just an honest person and it really annoys me, that someone would try to get paid for not doing the work! I think they were hoping, I would accept the task, without checking, so they would get paid.

Well, I am glad you didn't pay them. I think that sucks that people lie and cheat their way through life. I'm seeing more and more of it everyday and it really makes me angry to know that most of the time, they get away with it.

I agree with you alot of people, seem to want to get something for nothing. The thing that is annoying, is they would make more then I am offering for the task, if they would actually do the task. The task itself will make them money, above what I am paying. Kind of funny, that they are actually hurting themself more in not doing the task and lying about it.

Hi, celticflower29. I am sorry to hear this. Lying is not right at all. I was just hoping that this person was not me. Because I do my best to answer any tasks that I complete. If I know that I am going to have trouble with a task, I will just not bother responding to it. I would just leave it for someone else to do. That would not be fair to just answer a task and not thoroughly complete it. That is cheating and it is wrong. Hopefully they made a mistake into thinking that they have already completed the task when in actuality they did not. I really do hope that it was a big mistake on their end. If not, then shame on them. I enjoy completing any tasks that you sent to me. If, I can't do it, then I will not complete it. I hope that this person understands that when they cheat and lie like this, that it makes it hard for them to ever receive anymore task offers from you. I am so sorry that this has happened.

Hi Cream97,
No you did the task completely right. I credited you. I think part of the problem may be, people are not looking carefully enough, at the countries that can do this task. I am starting to think, it is more just not paying attention, instead of cheating.

I guess like everything else you can't always trust people. Not even on Mylot. Shameful!

Hi Celticflower,
Sorry to say this, but you will find that kind of leeches everywhere. Not only on the Internet, but offline as well. I have money in my funds too, but my plans changed and I am preparing for a new project in January, will probably use it then.
Simply don't pay them when they clearly haven't done what was expected from them. They have nothing to say and no reason to complain.

Yes, that is all I can do. I definitely hope, you don't have to deal, with any leeches in January!
