Is Coach a famous Handbag brand in the world?

Hi Yerteday i went to Coach factory store and bought a handbag for my mum that spend me $289 i have no idea about Coach. how do you guys think about Coach this brand? is it good or famous in the world? whats your opinion on Coach?? thx

Hi. I wasn't aware of Coach brand until my boss have given me a handbag gift from the USA about two or three years ago. Nowadays, I have seen many imitations of this brand here in our country. So maybe, it's really a famous brand worldwide.
