What is there in Da Vinci code,that everybody loves it?

I cant't understand the most of people I have met ,love this book.What is there in this book that make people just get lost in it,even my brother completed and told me that it was the best book that he had ever read,after that I thought I would also complete it but after seeing its number of pages in it I just removed the thought of completing it from my mind.What is there in this book

Well its fiction with suspense and mistery. And make to think by the questions about catholism.

Simple! Dan Brown creates a fictional history where he question the catolicism and everybody believes in that. And he added to this suspense and action. But everybody loves because most of them really believe in Dan Brown's history. It's the same that believes in X-Men's history...

I have read and finish this book but I won't say that it is the best book I ever read. I think that what get them on this book is the secret which is revealed in the end of the story. I think that way because it is the reason why I read this book. I became curious of what secret it is.
