Hi siril, i think u r wrong. The word hindu came from british colonialisn, perhaps on 1830. They misspelled the word sindu and hindu came out. I think no greek was involved here even persian. It was all areans who came from parasya but till them they were not recognised as persian, they were greater arean. I wanna to suggest u to read from volgas to ganges by rahul sanskrityan.

I haven't yet been to India but I do hope to go there one day. I would like to see the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Pink Palace of Jaipur and the city buildings of Delhi. I would like to visit the palm fringed beaches of Kerala and have a boat ride at the backwaters. Yes, India is a diverse country and religion is important there. India has an excellent train system.

Yes all the places you have mentioned are wonderful places to visit. At the same time do not forget to visit my state, Tamilnadu, where you can visit, Mammallapuram, an ancient town in the sea shore, which is filled with ancient sculptures, and also you must also visit, the temples of Madurai and Tanjore, which is something out of the world.

hi siri, definitly we should appreciate our india.
India as well all know is multi-faceted. Its endless variety never ceases to stupify one, withit fantastic forts and beaches, food, clours, costume even they ever changing landscape. Your quest for cultural knowlege and heritage or even a spiritual search of the inner self could find its answer here, the land of ganges.
Few countries in the world have a tradition culture and variety as diverse as this as multifaceted land called india. thankyou for the topic, have a nice day.

Well,I am an Indian.I appreciate that unity in diversity bit.But Land of technology, sorry we don't really deserve that compliment.Technology and education is often hindered by the nasty political scenario. The cultural glory though is far greater than you can possibly imagine.
