...to try and prevent you from leaving home?My cat Precious hates it when we go out. He would much rather go along. But, we can't always take him along as much as we would like to. So we normally have to lock him up somewhere to keep him from fallowing us out the door. (He might if we actually gave him the chance.
However, that doesn't mean he hasn't tried a few things to try and "prevent" us from leaving. Some examples would be; Sleeping right on top of our shoes, blocking the door, lying on our clothes, trying to get in our clothes, (mostly mine) Or trying to pin me down literlly.
He did the last thing only once when he knew I was in a lot of pain and had convinced himself I couldn't walk. (which he would've been right.)
So what have your pets attempted to do?

The cats that I have had so far have been extremely lazy and would sleep whole day specially on our lap and stay there for hours. But Preiti my pet dog will howl away and embarrass us till we get back. I give a deaf ear to that as we have no other alternative but our neighbours are quite understanding.

That's one cute dog. I'm a cat person myself, but I've had both. It does seem dogs are good at laying out the guilt trips. don't you think?

our dogs would block the door, cry, bark,or even piss on our clothes just to make sure we don't leave without them...i have a short story 'bout one of our dogs that was left behind when we went to go swimming overnight,he almost killed himself not eating and sleeping but just crying, for i think 2 days & 1 night, but we left them with loads of foods & water, the other dog was fine the only problem was him....well we can't blame him cause whenever we have the chance we always tag him along with us on our trips...and now we can't leave him alone cause he might really die if he do those thing again...well i guess he just love being with us that much...:))

My dog couldn't care less about the outdoors. We have had her since she was born. She is our only pet and she grew up with our children. They played outside a lot when they were growing up, but now that they are teens/young adults, they don't go outside unless their getting in cars. So, I think she has taken on thier personality. The only time she's concerned about going out is to potty.

Frnd ,u can't guess where ur pet had gone when u have left it without locking.Actually Ialso had owned a white fur cat ,our family had to go to village and we could not take the cat with us.So we left it and after 2 months when we came back ,we were actually surprised nt to see the cat,but within few that cat came with small three white kitties,so u can't tell how far they had gone.
