what do you think about DEATH?

according to the book that i've recently finished reading, death is the best motivation for people to get on with their life and living it the best way possible. it was merely because when you know your life is being numbered, you tend to do things differently from the way you used to. actually i did get so much confusion regarding this because i thought about it the other way, what i mean is that usually when people would know that their days are being numbered, they tend to make it worst rather than they used to. so i wanted to know what is your opinion about this matter...
