Need a little help with ebay!

I got two dresses and want to list them on ebay but don't know how to word it. One dress is a size 10 green sequin party dress by In Vouge, the other dress is purple formal jacket and skirt silk size 8 by Tina Prima. I don't know how to word it to make these dresses sell can anyone help me write a discription of the dresses so they will get attention and sell? How would you write a description of these dresses?

Thanks Cher. I will try to put them back on ebay with this in mind. Didn't put on there that they were made of silk. Was trying to sell them cause I don't wear clothing like this and they was given to me. The purple one still has tags on it and it cost 259.95. I don't know what would be a good price for these dresses. I know very little about clothing like this I don't wear a lot of expensive clothing. Most of my clothes is tee's and blue jeans....LOL If they had not been given to me I would never had brought these dresses.

I bid on an item and didn't mean to because I didn't read all the details. I ended up winning the bid but never paid the money. Does it penalize me in any way if I don't pay?
