I washed my mothers clothes a few days ago. Now she just called to ask was I washing today. I washed yesterday all my clothes. Now I have to wash more clothes for her today. Do you wash other peoples clothes? If so do you like it?

I am so glad my daughter does her own laundry. She is 15 years old. Happy New year

I wash all the clothing for our household. That is 4 people. Hubby 2 kids, myself. When the kids are older, I will get them to help. Right now at 6 and 16 months, not an option.

Back when I was the only one of my siblings in the area that had a washer and dryer my brothers and my sister would pay me $5 a load to do their laundry for them. My brothers have moved and my sister has her own now, so I only wash mine and my kids laundry now. I hate doing laundry. My 9 year old son does a lot of it anymore though. He hauls the laundry to the basement, switches from the washer to the dryer, and hauls the clothes back up. He also folds and hangs up his own clothes. Then only thing I do of his laundry is the washing part.

Hi, Sharon Johnson. I have washed my aunts sheets and spreads off of her bed. She would already have it in the washing machine, and I would just put the detergent in it and turn the water on. I have done the same for my grandma too. I like to wash the washcloths and towels. I have even washed her work clothes for her too. A few years ago, my husband used to wash his parents clothes when we would go to the laundromat. I got so tired of this. I was asking him why do he have to wash his parents clothes, when his dad could have done it. His dad had the money and a car to go and wash their own clothes. I felt sick.. That was just lazy of my in-laws. I also used to add a few pieces of my cousin's clothes in the washing machine with my clothes too. I did not have enough of clothes to wash and I did not want to just wash that many few items like that. So, some of her white clothing went in the same washing machine as mines did. I only now wash my own clothes and my family's.

No......I was washing my son's cloth when he was too small. I left washing clothes long back as we have a washing machine. When the clothes are too dirty in rainy season, my maid servant washes them for us.
