2009 is quickly coming to a close, I've seen a couple discussions about "fav/best movie of the year" and whatnot, so I decided to make one about 2000-2009; the past 10 years. :D It's hard to think of movies that far back, but the ones I thought were good, and can think of now are: Batman Begins, Twilight, (most of) the Harry Potter movies, The Princess and The Frog, Coraline, Ratatoille, Wall-E, Pan's Labyinth, Spirited Away, Finding Nemo, Lost in Translation, Juno, Brokeback Mountain, Slumdog Millionaire, Ponyo, the Kill Bill movies, March of the Penguins, Hairspray, the Lord of the Rings movies and I Love You Man. But I think my favorite is The Dark Knight- I'm a fan of the Batman movies and I thought this one toppoed off all the rest. w

I love Nicolas Cage and especially his movie "Lord of war". Ive been seen it for 7,8 times. Among all the hero movie I prefer Fantastic 4. Recently Im looking forward to see The Princess and the Frog and the Old Dogs.

Personally, I find myself in a tie. Pan's Labyrinth was nothing short of spectacular. The story told in it is unparalleled. I feel weird saying this, since it has only been out 1 week, but I think Avatar may be a challenger as well. This is a movie which will help define the next decade of movie making and broke unseen ground in effects.

yeah, I haven't seen Avatar yet but I really want to. The special effects look amazing. And a lot of the movie critics I've seen say that in 20 years or so Avatar may be like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings to pop culture.

This may sound funny but I really loved the movie Enchantment. I also thought that Iron Man was really good. The original Harry Potter movie was also excellent as was the 2nd, but I am not sure if that was in this last decade. The Dark Night was one of the best too. I am sure there are more that I just can't think of at the moment that will come to me later.

You definitely named some good ones! I really liked the movies "I Love You Man", "Seven Pounds", "Pursuit of Happyness", "Pan's Labyrinth", and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (a bit of an eclectic mix of movies there.. lol.) Those were all good movies to me. But it's so hard to think back that far! I've seen SO many movies in the past ten years, and I definitely can't keep track of 'em all!

I'm not a movie critic so I guess what I perceive as "best" might not be the best. Still, here goes my list; Juno, Charlie and the chocolate factory, You don't mess with Zohan, Doe hard 4, 40y/o virgin, the pursuit of happiness. That sums it all.
