details for the new avatar movie!

well basically, the new avatar movie is written and directed by James Cameron. The film stars a few good characters and is set in 2154 in the planet Pandora which is earthlike in another solar system!
The movie had been in production since 1994 and James's last movie was Titanic. Wow lol what a long time ago!
Did you know that the movie would have been released in 1999 but James wanted the technology to catch up!
ps. Its a sick movie!!!!!! Yeah!!!!

Hi dewan95! I just watched the movie recently in 3D with japanese subtitles. hahaha. I've been a fan of sci-fi movies. I like the sci-fi effects and the plot too was good. For me, the movie was really good. I loved it. Happy mylotting!

Thank you for the trivia on Avatar! I did know that it was 15 years in the making but I didn't know that James Cameron actually wanted technology to catch up so that the effects would be more realistic - I guess he wanted to live up to his greatest film, Titanic!
I watched Avatar and I liked it a lot. I planned on watching it again but didn't find the time to. I was too busy at work since Christmas vacation was coming up then and stuff. I was lucky that I was able to watch it on IMAX (3D) - it was awesome!
