Do you like participating in group exercise programs ?

It is very much necessary to do physical exercise regularly to keep healthy. There can be ofcourse different ways and choices. Some like participating in group exercise programs rather than just exercising individually just by themselves. I think that's an excellent way too. That keeps members to do exercise regularly, and also gives the opportunity to interact socially. How do you see that ? Do you like participating in group exercise programs ?

I love to do physical exercise in a group my friend. Actually it activates my spirit and I feel it as a competition against my friends.

i do not like that very much and do not hate it at all. but most of time we just do moring exercise at home lonely and do group exercise at the weekend .like play basketball or climb mountain.that's nice to exercise and sweatting to keep our health.

I am an avid runner and exercise 5-6 times per week. However, I HATE group exercise!! I feel vulnerable and feel as though every one is staring at me. I felt the same way in GYM class growing up. With 5 kids, my exercise time is ME time. Something that I only get for 30 to 45 minutes per day after the kids are asleep. I get on my eliptical or hit the pavement for a run. I do agree that it is a good opportunity for social interaction, that is a very good point, but in the end my ME time wins out!

I enjoy participating in both individual and group exercises. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. A group may make you feel more motivated to continue even when you get tired or bored. You have the opportunity to make friends also if you exercise with a group. Individually you can tailor the exercises to yourself in every way. That includes time, type of exercise, effort etc. A disadvantage with a group is that you may feel competitive with others and some people even feel embarrassed if they're not at the same level as others in a group setting. A disadvantage for exercising alone is you may not make as much effort and can lose enthusiasm.

Hi. I think it would be good to join group exercise programs. I believe that the socialization and camaraderie would have a positive effect on a person's motivation to exercise more often. I have not yet joined any group exercise programs before but my husband would like us to join one in the next few months.

ya friend you can go for group exercise instead of doing.experienced people will be there to correct your mistakes.if you do any work alone it will start to bore for us.if we do it as a group we don't even know how much time we are spending that much we will involved if we do it as a group.you can get many friends too if you are in group.you can learn many new exercise too friend. have a nice day :)

Exercise - Exercise keep man healthy and fit
Doing exercise in group is very beneficial to health because My experience says that when I was going to Gym for exercise with my friends we were doing together they teach me some time when I do some wrong and also we compare with each other so that we can know where is our limitation and what improvement should we brought in ourselves to do it in a better way, but when all of y friend stop going there I feel very unhealthy environment there also i do not like to do it alone and now I have stop going Gym .way, but when all of y friend stop go.

hi greenline, i know that exercise is good and compulsory for the people,but due some causes people are not doing the same,but i prefer walking in the house itself for 30 minites and i am doing only one exercise only,i cannot explain the things to you,because of my language,have a nice day

I do participate in group exercise programs! Group exercise is offered in the gym membership that I availed last year. I attend a sort of boxing class and a sort of yoga class. I say "sort of" because they're mixed with several other aspects like cardiovascular exercises for the boxing class and Pilates stuff for the yoga-ish class. It's cool because you get to do things with other people and it gears you up to think that if they can get through with the class, then so can you!

When I was a member of Gold's Gym, I always participate on the group exercises they offer because it is easier to motivate one's self to exercise better when you see the people who exercise with you motivating oneself as well. It makes me think that if she can do it, I can do it as well. These people somehow become a source of inspiration for me to finish my exercise routine.
