Do you ever go to or hear of some special restaurants?

In order to attract more customers manager of restaurant can offer more special ideas. I like eating, when I go to a new place i often look for special food and restaurants. Once I went to a restaurant which all food were made of vegetable you could not find any meat. Another one is role play restaurant, the waitress make up as a nurse. There are many special restaurants. Do you ever go to some restaurant which you think they are special? Or do you hear of some special restaurants?

I am not really good at spotting nice restaurants around town so I rely on what my friends and family tell me. I also love surfing online for promos and discount cards and I only visit those which offer them lol. I am not that big of a food lover anyway so I am not really into going out to dine and trying out what's new but it sure is fun to be able to eat something new every once in a while. i only do that with friends and family though and never alone because when I am alone, I tend to just visit fast foods and other popular ones. :D
