I Hate Emos!

I hate emos. With a passion. What is it really? Is it a fashion statement? A musical genre? A psychological problem? Most people who claim they are "emos" don't even know what they are talking about. They walk around dressed like they wore clothes 3 sizes smaller, comb their hair so they couldn't see where they're going, and go about in life wishing they were dead. You wouldn't spend 2 hours in the mirror trying to get that "emo-look" if you want people to know that you wish you were dead. I don't get it. I think I'll just slit my wrist and cry over the wounds.

Just let them be sad :/ In my opinion though: I reckon a lot of them are posers, just wearing the clothes because they think that it is "cool".

It's a fashion statement, it's a musical genre and a psychological problem all in one. Of course, in our Post Modern Society, people are just going to copy a style and not even know why. Wikipedia has a wonderful article about Emo, just go over there and search. I like some of their fashion (not the all black look, though), and some of the music is cool. I could never dress like Emo or be Emo though. It's too depressing and I want to be me, not someone else. I don't hate them, no, but I don't want to be like them. Thank you very much! Hehe.
