PTC sites were and still are a very popular way to earn money online. In fact, when I started blogging two years ago, it was just to get referrals to Neobux and other PTC sites. However, times have changed and PTC sites are now seen as a waste of time because you earn a few measly cents for a couple minutes of your time. And worst of all it takes months to get paid without referrals. That is why I came up with this list of 5 alternatives. What's on your list?
1. myLot - Of course! It's the best paying site on the web!
2. Adsense - Best way of earning with ads on a blog.
3. Associated Content - Or any other paying paid to write site. Bukisa has become popular recently. Check out this discussion for a detailed list: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2005894.aspx
4. Squidoo - This site is a little different than the other paid to write sites because it is more like having a one page website that is easy to update and earn from.
5. Cafepress/Zazzle - If you can make the sales, these are two great online stores you can use to create your own products with your unique and original designs. It is last because making the sales is hard for me but I am working on it.
These are my 5 alternatives, what's yours?

Thanks for sharing so many things with us.Cafepress,Zazzle and Associated content, these three concepts are not so clear to me. But there are certainly other way to earn online and in my opinion mylot is the best. But if you are having a sound language skill then you may earn through writing paragraphs or articles consisting of 500 to 1000 words. I don't generally suggest anyone anything without testing it myself.I prefer writing these types of articles sometimes.

This list given by you is quite good , I would like to add Microworkers an M-Turk to this list where earning is quite flexible and also really fun. I have been paid Four times since mid-November when I joined microworkers. I think that with the passage of time new innovations will take place and more good sites will come up.

I am also a fan of microworkers. Basically people pay you for small task like signing up, commenting on youtube or joining sites as their referrals. I find it useful for getting referrals and blog promotion. Look at it as an "open-source" GPT site.
I don't know much about M-Turk.

You register with them and then you get your own little online store. You choose a product, let's say a t-shirt, and then add your own custom design, text or upload a photo. Add a description and post for sale. When someone buys that t-shirt, you earn a percentage of what the person pays. I can give you the sites if you are interested in joining. The FAQ and Help sections on both sites are very helpful and make the sites self-explanatory.
