Can you keep a secret?

Yes, I hold plenty of them. I don't want to tell them either, I swore I wouldn't without actually swearing that I would. I don't like people who can't keep a secret, it means that they can't keep their mouths shut about anything or anybody. When I come across these types of people I clam up because any speak from my mouth is fuel for their lies.

I can keep a secret very well but I don't appreciate being put in to a position where I have to. I don't like keeping things from my wife and if someone makes me keep a secret I feel bad about not telling her, because we share everything. I sometimes tell people to not tell me a secret, or I ask them if I can share it with my wife. If not I don't really want to know a secret I can't tell my wife.

Hello ladym33! I can keep a secret. If I am sworn into secrecy, I would definitely keep my mouth shut. It is not easy. I must admit that there are instances when the urge to share it to someone is there. So strong that I would like to tell it to someone. But then whenever I remember that people's trust in me is at stake, I choose to keep mum.

yeah i can keep a secret..i think keeping someone's secret need to be very patient..it is a great deal of determination i think, not to want to tell someone what you just heard...secret is secret and i am very loyal to my friends

I have had to learn to keep a secret if it came out what I know it would blow the family apart,everyone seems to take me into their confidence as they know I will never say anything.sometimes I wish they would go somewhere else sometimes ,I try to forget most of what I am told.I know what you mean some people just have to say something and then the problems is out in the open.

If someone tells me a secret, then it will stay a secret - I will not utter it to anyone else. In fact, I am well known in my circle of friends (and family) for being a good listener, and someone they can confide in and be confident that their secret will be safe with me.
