What are your biggest pet peeves?

Today my rant is people that continue to talk on the cell phone while in the checkout line. I mean the cashier has to ask them repeatedly to do simple things like swipe their credit cards. Very annoying, slows down the lines. How important have we become that we can't be away from our cell phones even while buying groceries or doing our banking business?

Mine is when people chew with their mouths open. Some people dont even notice they are doing it but my grandmother is the absolute worst. I cant stand to be around when she eats unless there is a background noise that I can concentrate on so I dont hear it and I just dont take my eyes off of my own plate. She never notices even though I have mentioned it a few times. I dont want to hear you chew your food and I definitely dont want to see it! Yuck!

I agree with you on that one, teamrose. Along the same line, I get irritated by a couple of friends of mine who think that they should use any down time they have to call me from their cell. They might not be busy at the moment but sometimes I am and they never ask if I have time to talk. My biggest pet peeve though is people who tailgate. I HATE seeing only the grill or windshield of the vehicle behind me because it's so close and I'm sooooo tempted to slam on my brakes since I know that hitting the rear end of my truck will do more damage to them then it will to me. But, I resist the urge.

Some people - especially when they are alone - think they need to be on their cellphone in order to look cool because they are alone. I know a lot of students do it because they feel awkward walking by themselves so perhaps the same thing goes for adults as well.
For me my biggest pet peeve - in stores since that is the topic - is parents who can't control their kids. I use to work in retail and kids would be making a mess out of everything, running around, screaming, etc. and the parents just let them do it. Not only does it show bad parenting but why would you want you kid doing that in the first place? And even if we asked them to watch their kids, they'd call them over for 5 minutes and then just let them go back to screaming and running about.

i hate nosy people. Sometimes though I know that they are just being friendly and nice with me but I feel like I am deprived of my privacy. This is because I am a very exclusive person..very introvert. If only I could just disappear so people will not notice me..I hate it when people notice something about me because I feel like everyone is looking at me and dissecting me.. It's not actually their problem but mine however I really hate it when it happens. :(

1. I can't stand when people rush to make a turn in front of you, but then drive slow.
2. I don't like when people get in your personal bubble and every time you take a step back they take a step forward.
3. Coffee breath.
4. People who honk their horns in front of someone's house.
5. That one person who ALWAYS has to prove their point.
Sorry thats just a few ;)
