What items do you spend the most money on when shopping for yourself?

Most of the time my purchases are need based. If I need an item very badly then only I go to buy. But this rule doesn't apply when I am with children. They make you throw such rules to the dustbin.

I spend more money on my daughter than myself. It is really sad to say as well. She gets all the clothing while I suffer with nothing new. This coming year I will be taking good care of myself.

i would have to say none of the above. i like to get stuff on sale and usually do. i wait til there is a sale on the item i need usually and then get it. the most money i have spent lately was on a new bra for myself!

hi icesmile, I usually spend most on shoes and computer accessories/gadgets. Of course food and other basic needs for my family. More often I spend most of my earnings for home and my family. I always put myself last on the list.

More than anything for me I will buy something for the house - Recently I bought some beautiful bath mats, a flask that does not have glass within, lovely towels, new curtains, new upholstry, some crockery cutlery and what I like most is disinfectants for the house which I keep lookig for and the best smelling one is what I look for. I managed to get a herbal disinfectant recently and it is really good.

The only thing I've spent a fortune buying are books. I really love to read! For me, a good book is worth buying. I spend more money on books than on anything else. I rarely buy clothes, once a year perhaps, but I buy in bulk except when I need to get a dress or something or a certain event. Perfume and jewellery? It's either given for free or I bought them cheap.

I don't buy a lot of clothes and shes etc. I am happy with what I have, but I do things for myself, like buying a mocha latte every day at the coffee shop, and eating out often. I also travel when I can. I do buy myself a "lasting gift" now and then (a piece of jewellery, for example, a new outfit maybe...) but not that often, just when I find something I like.
