I originally wanted an iPhone but settled on a Blackberry. $400 is NOT easy to come up with and to me doesn't seem worth it just for a phone! But I have a few friends who have them and absolutely LOVE them and couldn't live WITHOUT them. I have heard of some problems that people have with iPhones, too, but for the majority of it, all I hear is rave reviews.

I know you've been hearing this a lot, but I say it really depends on your usage. The iPhone is a good multimedia smartphone and best used by someone who devours a constant diet of videos, podcasts, and music on a daily basis. But if you're the type who is pretty much comfortable with something that allows you to be easily reached, then a Blackberry might be a better option. Try weighing the pros and cons of different phones first before you follow your friend's advice. (But I guess if you have lots of money, then it doesn't really matter, does it?)

I have an I-Phone have tried black berries etc etc and the I-Phone is just simply the easiest and most adaptable phone to use. I use my phone for personal use and business I also use it as an i-pod. they are quite expensive to buy but not as expensive as buying an ipod and a phone seperately. So yeah I can't fault the i-phone they are simply awesome phones and very very easy to use.

I have heard and seen a lot about the Iphone. However you have to ask yourself how happy are you with Apple products? If you have trouble with Apple products then the Iphone is not for you. That's all I can really say.
