Have you ever tried deer meat?

A week ago, my friend's brother went to hunting, and they brought back some deer meat. Honestly, I am not a big fan of deer meat, and I only tried it once in a while. My father especially afraid of it, because it is a wild animal nonetheless. He won't want to try something that is not approved by FDA certified or something like that. For me, depends on what I am eating, but deer meat just fine with me as long as I like the first bite. So, that is not so bad.
Does anyone taste it before?

Yes I have tasted it before, and it was actually quite good. Not something I'd eat again unless I wasn't told about it though. We have deer out here, but we don't shoot them as they are like our pets almost, lol.
