I have saved someones life before. My friend was going to committ suicide and talked her out of it. She hated her life but I comforted her and helped her. I listened and talked with her when noone else did. I supported her through her tough and vurnable time. It realled helped and I am glad to say she is still alive today. It goes to show you some people just need some help a support on what they are going through. If she committed suicide she would be hurting more people than herself. Friends and family would be devasted. I am so glad I helped her in her time of great need. It was hard to see her go through it but I was there and never stopped caring.

I can happily say I have saved many lives in the past 9 years, i used to be a paramedic. It is the most rewarding feeling ever. I have too many times to list but the best one has to be a 2 yr old little girl called sophie. She had accidently consumed some of her brothers anti-convulsant medication causing a cardiac arrest. I managed to save her and she is now 10! Very rewarding :)

I am sure I have done this a few times over the course of the years. I am not really sure how I did it though. I am always there for people when they need me too but they have never told me if I made a difference to them or not.

Hi there!
You appear to be a good counselor and it is heartening to note that you saved your friend's life by advicing her. I have not had such an opportunity, however I try to encourage to cheer up those of my friends who feel depressed due to one reason or the other.

thank you for caring and listening. This is one thing that many are looking for at such a time. I was able to notice a friend who i had not seen for one year that things were not right. This gave him the opportunity to open up. A week into his visit i got a call from the friends that he was staying with that he had been admitted to the hospital with the breakdown. He is getting help and we talk more often. He was grateful that i was able to be open with him, and to notice that he was acting strange. Explained the little talk we had prior to this made some difference.
