Who is to say what the true meaning of HAPPINESS is..I guess to every one its different. My idea of happiness is knowing all my family and friends are healthy and happy.Financial stability fits in there too,not meaning i have to be rich but at least able to pay my bills and not stress about how to buy food or pay for any doctors visits. When i had my son i felt a happiness i had never felt before and even now when he is being a little monster,I take one look at his little face and still feel great joy...So for me its not too complicated but i would love to hear what makes others HAPPY!!!

Yes I also believe that happiness comes with a healthy and happy mind and body. It is said that health is wealth and that healthy mind makes a healthy body and vice versa. I consider financial stability of utmost importance in living a happy life. If you have money to sustain yourself, you can pay your bills and don't have to worry too much in life. And of course just like you I too have a little son who is the apple of my eye!! I love to spend time with him and only one look at him and all my worries burst like bubbles!! Other things that make me happy are good food, good clothes to wear, reading an interesting book, and spending time on my hobbies.

Happiness for me is having almost all of my dreams come true. Of course I am aware of the possibilities that I cannot have everything I want but at least I will be able to achieve some of my important objectives little by little. Happiness could also mean living a healthy life together with my family, friends, and loved one. People do have different definitions of the word happiness and people have different ways of achieving it. Whatever those ways are, I hope everybody will be happy especially this year 2010 and beyond. As the year starts, my mind also starts thinking about the dreams and goals I want to achieve and pursue this year. May everything turn out to be realistic.

Happiness to me is finacial stability.Having kids and a normal daily routine is another way of being happy for me.
I guess as you said it is very different for everyone.I have rich friends but they are not happy because of some reason or the other. So i can't say whether money plays a very important part in being happy but I feel it just different for everyone

Happiness for me is being contented with what you have. Although I must say, when we dream big, we feel alive and motivated. I find happiness in the simplest of things. Since I am a nature-lover, I already find utter delight in staring at the blue skies and stargazing. :D As much as possible I don't wanna depend my happiness on material things like iPods and laptops, because they give only short-term satisfaction. A deep relationship with God, being with the people you love, and serving other people by sharing your talents and gifts with them are the ultimate sources of happiness I think.
