Amateur Night Is Almost Upon Us

Just a couple more nights and amateur night will be here. While growing up my parents always would refer to new years eve as "amateur night". When they were younger they went out to celebrate. Over the years they lost friends on that evening. Because of to much drinking and trying to drive. As us children came along, they started celebrating at home. We had friends, spirits, food and music. And late at night we watched the fireworks from our rooftop. These memories stay with me. This is the way I will be celebrating this year. How will you bring in the new year?
