Hv u ever worked for a same company twice or more times?

I came back to work in the company that I used to work for 3.5 years this Oct., I was hoping that the life could be happier than before when I was working there.
The result turns out that most of the things remain the same but I couldn't have that much interest in doing the similar things here.
I was not so busy as before, in fact, I have quite some free time. This is one thing that I am not happy with.I am thinking of whether need to change myself and change a job ago.
What about you? Have you got the same experience with me ?

Usually is not a good idea to go back to work for the same company
since usually things always remain the same. In my situation, once
I leave a company there is no return. On the other hand, the economy
is not that great ,so is best to remain where you are right now ,and
look for something better once the economy starts moving forward again.

A company that I used to work for asked me if I still want to work with them again. It's been 2 years since I left that company, they offered me a higher salary and flexible hours. I still turned them down because I didn't think that things changed since I last worked there. Plus my co-workers, which was the reason why I left, wouldn't be happy to see me back there again.

I have never tried to go back to work in the same school where I used to work, but I have some colleagues who left here a few years ago have already come back to work. I think that it is probably because they still prefer the old one after working somewhere else that they come back to work. Now I am considering working somewhere else, but I have no idea whether it is good for me or not. The future is hard to foretell though. I feel lost.
