I think the best for brain development is milk. Milk works best for many reasons like for good eye sight, better bones ,gives strength and makes your mind sharper.

When I was in college, I was told that peanuts and bananas are brain foods. I like peanuts but I do get pimples the day after I consume some. So it's down to bananas which, luckily, I like too.
Cheers!

Back in the day, actually I tried it one time when studying was to drink some smart drinks that contained betablockers or something like that. It helped with the blood-brain barrier, etc. Ended up, I could not sleep that night.

Fish is great for the brain. Its the omega 3 fatty acids. Also, most veggies are great for your brain too. I think any food that is going to keep you focused throughout the day will be good for your brain.
