What Do You Think Was the Top Video Game of 2009?

i would also say modern warfare 2 but eventually it will get boring and lose attention if you play online after a 2 years modern warfare had on 100,000 people at most playing it and halo 3 had 250,000 at most now it is at 200,000 at most i think halo 3 is probably the best game ever until MAG is released then we will see.

I definently agree that Arkham Asylum was a good game, although it was quite short. For Best game released in 09, I'd personally have to go with Uncharted 2. It really raised the bar and improved on the already great original game in virtually every way. I'm not really a fan of the multiplayer though.

This year was great for gamers as there were many games that rocked the year 2009. I do not play pc games much but I do play PS2. I think God of War 2 was the best game as per me in PS2 category. I also got the chance to play Batman but I did not like that much though.

Without a doubt Uncharted 2: Amongst Theives. The first one was absolutely phenomenal, and the second installment actually IMPROVED on the formula Addicting online, epic campaign that feels just like a movie, eye-poppingly gorgeous graphics, fully fleshed-out characters and much more all added to such an unforgettable experience. Additional mention to Assassin's Creed II, CoD: MW2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum by the way

Hmmm, my boyfriend says COD: Modern Warfare 2. I personally have no opinion of my own, because I havent played a new game in years. I stick to what I like and he hates me for it.

In my opinion the best game of 2009 was Assassin's Creed 2. The graphics were good, the storyline was great and it really left me wanting more. I hope they make a new one soon.
