I'm planning to enter investing this coming year. I need some advice and opinions. What do you prefer, investing for capital gains or investing for cashflow?

kabayan! i agree with ramesh. I think it would also depend on the amount of capital you are willing to invest since this will dictate the available financial products/opportunities in the market. May I know the options you're looking at? Happy new year!

I would like to start small, then add up as from time to time... With P5,000 or $100, what investment do you recommend?

If you do not have the need for immediate money, you can always prefer capital gains. By capital gains, you can plan to buy some expensive things, when there is need.If you feel that you need some extra cash regularly, you can opt for cash flow. Of course I do not know your countries income tax rules. I can give you more advice only if I know the income tax rules.
