A man called Conor Woodman wanted to travel around the world but he didn't have the right amount of money. In order to go around the world I let out my home for one year and go a working holiday visa for Australia. Conor did lots of different jobs and trading goods then he had enough money. He used to work in London, England, as an analyst. Can you think of work you could do to afford your trip around the world? Was the man right to leave his wonderful job and take off o a trip to lots of different countries?

Each to their own. If he can do it, why not? I would be worried about having work when I came home with the economy the way it is now. Sounds like he was very talented. Can you imagine his resume now? In my own area and country, I've done the following just to stay employed: Teaching k-6, Reading teacher K-12, worked in factories making sure that the machines were printing on bottles correctly and another one making sure the paper plates came out correctly, babysat, housesat, worked in a garden, worked for an herb company, taught in a correctional facility, was a guard in a different correctional facility, drove people who couldn't drive to Drs appointments, fed cats while someone was away, had a rummage sale, answered the phone and took messages, typed, Sold dog and cat food, cleaned house, and some things I can't even think of right now. About 30 jobs just to stay here. The area I live, I was once told that a college professor didn't want to leave here, he was seen doing lumberjack work. That's just to stay here. That says it all.

I am not sure I would have all the trade and skills that I needed to pay for such a trip, however I would love to do this but I lack the bravery. He has explored the world and not just from a tourist perspective but from that of the layman, a worker in each place. How can you get a more realistic personal travel experience?

That's a dream that most people will never be able to fulfill. That he had the gumption and the drive to do it is amazing. I would love to have a trip around the world to different places. I do not have the money to do so. Unless my circumstances undergo something drastic, I never will have the money to go many places at all. I also do not have the skills to work jobs around the world, nor do I have the health. But that doesn't mean I can't set my sights on maybe going to one particular place in the world. If I set a goal to visit one country in particular, I think that as the years go by, I may be able to achieve that dream. And in my own way, that would be as big a feat as going around the world (for me). I'm blessed to have already been to Australia and New Zealand. The trip I won was right before I got very sick. I look at that as a blessing from the Lord. Even if I never leave the States again, I'll always have the memories of New Zealand and Australia.

This man has certainly made his passion alive. Even I have this kind of dream but never thought about it seriously though. After hearing this I am feeling excited about this thing. I think one should have his desire like this that could be completed in check all the time. I think living in different is the best experience in the world.

Well, I guess he just made his dream come true. It must have been his passion to travel the world and somehow or the other he had to make it come true. So he did it. And one must always really give it a try to fulfill one's dream so that you won't have regrets later.
