Have you ever played Adventure game books like Dice Man or Legend of Skyfall?

Hey guys, did you ever immersed yourselves into the fantasy world of interactive fiction? I have played adventure game books like The Dice Man and the Legend of Skyfall series of books. These books are just like paper and pencil versions of RPG titles. Think there's also a game book on Dungeons and Dragons! So, my question is have you ever played adventure game books like Dice Man?

Are these just stories? or are they like the old goosebumps choose-your-own-story type books? I've never heard of those titles but they sound interesting.

Yes bradmeister, these are choose-your-story type of books. These are interactive novels that require a dice or a coin, paper and pencil to play. In other words these are interactive game books just like today's computer role playing games.
You have a character, choose your story and each story has a different ending based on the choices you select. You also have to confront monsters and fight with them using the dice or coin. I think there was a Dungeons and Dragons game book title, but I don't have that book unfortunately.
