hi heliang..
first of try to understand what is jvm and what is gc. what is the purpose of jvm and the visibilty of jvm and Garbage collection. then only you can understand the performance of proggram...
any way there are best tool in the market to analyse the performance measuring, monitoring and tuning.. the name is JPROBE
