Breaking news: Suspicious vehicle in Times Square

I'm at work and the news is on. There is a report of an investigation of a suspicious vehicle in Times Square in New York City with bogus license plates. I surely hope it's not a bomb or anything dangerous! Have you heard about this? What do you think?

Yep I just looked it up and the scare is over. But I sure am glad they are being extra cautious. Like the news thing I read said the NY New Years party draws a lot of people to Time Square and it would be the perfect opportunity for someone with a plan to hurt people.

From what I gather it was probably just a vender trying to get a good parking place for new years eve.

I had not heard of this. Haven't had the news on today as i usually do. I hope they have gotten it all straightened out by now. I'll check out the news. Thanks for the tip.

Hello my friend Bethany1202 Ji, Well, I would only imagine, when I was in Timesquare place on 6th Dec , 2003, and I missed my hubby's hand and became nervous to spot. I think, Timesquare has been most bussiest place, ever I saw.Now, I can imagine condition of all the people there after this news that 'Suspicious vehicle in Times Square'. Everyone should try and never reat immediately,else effects would betoo serious in panic. May God bless You and have a great time.
