I have noticed that after the presidents address yesterday there has been alot of upgrading done to the security at the airlines. What would you think if you have to have a full body scan to get aboard a plane? I think for the terrorists attacks we have heard I am thinking that this is the best they can and should do it for all airlines...But are you willing to have taxes raised to help out with the scanners?

The question is who should be screened?
The following questions should be used to determine who the threats are?
1. Who Attacked the Munich Games and killed 11 Athletes?
2. Who hijacked a Cruse Ship and murdered a disabled man?
3. Who Hijacked Pan AM flight and blew it up over Scotland?
4. Who blew up the Marine Barracks in Beirut?
5. Who Attacked the World Trade Center?
When these questions are answered we will know who to screen. We also have to give the TSA the authority to screen anyone they feel is acting strangely or feel might need to be screened closer. If they feel picked on or singled out then don't fly in our country.

I don't think we should pay higher taxes to do such things. They should be like the rest of us and penny pinch to get the things we need.... not that I want them to improvise on anyone safety BUT if 9 of 10 stadiums have sponsors why not get sponsors at the airport for such things KWIM?

First of all I think its a pretty amazing technology. I'm impressed we can even do that kind of stuff. I also don't think everyone will have to undergo this, just those selected for more screening or those that are suspicious. It seems like its really private cuz you can see...a lot....

I think that full body scanners in airports are a great idea. I am sure that full body scanners could be put in all airports in the USA and other developed countries like Australia. However I worry about the situation in developing countries like Indonesia. They might not be able to afford to put full body scanners in their countries.
I visited Israel and they have the best security in the world. I had to stand in a queue and then have a personal interview. Then I was taken to a private room and they looked through all of my baggage in fine detail. Of course I am just an innocent traveler so they let me go. They told me they can't be too careful. I thought well done to them because it is wise to try to find out if any of the travelers are terrorists.
Airport tax is already high but I support full body scanners to make people feel safe again when they fly.
