Before I fall asleep I often need more time. Someone can fall asleep in a short time. For me it is a little difficult. So I often lie on my side. If I change the sleeping position I can only lie on the bed and count the number. When I can not fall into sleep I try to different position. I often spend a long time on it. Sometime I give up the pillow and make me feel comfortable, then I can fall asleep quickly. How about young ? What kind of sleep position do you like?

I have problems of sleeping if I do not lie on my stomack, or on the right side. And most of the mornings I wake up the same position as I fell a sleep. I remember when I woke up at hospital after a long surgury, I said to the nurses I wanted her to help me move over to my stomack so I could go back to sleep. I seldome sleep on my back, it is uncomfortble. Of course there was a problem since I had the surgury in my left leg I could not move so I had to ajust to it for the moment. While I was recovering, the nurses had to help me every night so I could lay on my side. I did get someting to sleep on though becouse fo the pain, but it was the lucky night when I could move my self when I went to bed.
Happy new year

Hi Kevinll..I always have a hard time getting to sleep takes me a couple hours and I move around quite a bit but eventually I seem to end up sleeping on my side one had tucked under a pillow so that would most likely be mine.

Left side for me too. It's not because I "like it" but if I lay on my back I wake myself up with dripping down the back of my throat. There's something ailing my right hip, so the right side is out.
However, this holds true for only when I start to sleep. For some odd reason about 2 or 3 hours later I can be on my back. Occassionally I even wind up on my right side.
If you can't sleep, try worshiping God and prayer. Works for me.
