Witch one is better for a Blog? - Blogger or Word press ??

Witch would be a better place to start my first blog? Word press or with Blogger...?
I am still trying to sort it all out....any help is appreciated.

I've personally never tried Wordpress before, though I have heard of it. I've tried Blogger though and I like it. I think Blogger is pretty good because it's quite popular and there are a lot of popular blogspots out there so that makes Blogger more well-known. I think it's good for people who want to blog seriously and not just to communicate with friends, but to actually be well-known and have a popular blog that's read by many throughout the internet community. I haven't heard much about Wordpress, but if you want to be on a popular blogging site, I think Blogger would be the way to go.

Actually those who are very serious about blogging, Wordpress is much more popular to them than Blogger.Blogger the the best choice for starters, but if you consider serious blogging and having your own domain, then Wordpress is the best and Blogger does not even come close.You won't be able to make a professional looking site with Blogger, you cannot add pages, won't be able to customize everything.If you are a member of any blogging community like entrecard, you will better understand what I am trying to say.

well, i have been blogging for past 4 years and i can swear that, blogger is the best blogging service to start with. its has very simple drag and drop interface which could be easily understood by the newbie bloggers ! and also, blogger is the most easily customizable bloggeing service that you can install third party widgets and you can easily change the template of your blog,etc,etc,.. adding widgets is easy like anything that all you have to do is to just copy/paste the code of the desired widget ! but,in wordpress, adding third party widgets is impossible! without adding third party widgets,blogging will not be fun anymore! and also you cannot change the template of your blog in wordpress and you have to stick with limited templates(even though wordpress has wide range of templates,they are nothing before third party blogget templates!).so,i strongly recommend blogger for any one who is planning to start a new blog ! because. withBlogger, even a nowise can learn blogging very very eaily! even,when i started blogging, i knew nothing other than the word "blog"! but,blogger helped me a lot lot and lot! Stick with blogger and Happy Blogging !

If you are new to blogging, then I should say that blogger is better for you.You will get everything for free and add some contents too.In free wordpress blogs, you won't be able to add 3rd party HTML contents.
But if you are willing to spend some money and get your own domain, then wordpress is much better.You can add pages to wordpress blogs which you cannot do with blogger.
Wordpress blogs are 100 % customizable, that is, you can make the blog as you want it to be.
