is it true that FF8 is also available in ps2?

_I've seen a video on youtube wherein the scene where squall and rinoa are dancing in the ball was remade and is "said to be" for another ps2 format... _is that true?

I have only seen part of that demo , but its only available via PS1 or PSP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VIII It is possible that there is a version in PS2 format, but its most likely homebrew
