Gas Tanker Truck blasted in a road accident, Kerala

Today morning(3.50 AM) a Gas tanker is blasted in the national highway, Kerala. The blasting is occurred after 30 minutes of the accident. So many people injured including police and fire force men, no deaths are reported yet. I want to know the precautions are need to be taken for avoiding a bust if we are facing gas leakage. Any ideas..?
