Another year is about to end and another year about to begin.
Perhaps, at this time of the year, we all begin to look back to how our life was in 2009. There may be some things that happened that you are very happy about. And there may be some things that you wish never have happened.
I wonder, what was your life like in 2009?

Hello dolce_vita. Like 2008, 2009 was also a fulfilled year for me as I had some of my dreams realized--some examinations for getting certificates and I made it, which made me feel very happy and satisfied. I wish to feel more fulfilled in my professional career in 2010. All the best to you, friend.

Life in 2009. Stressful, very stressful. Hoping that I never have to go through so much pain in one year again. Not to many good things happened that I can recall and that's sad. You should be able to recall happy things over horrible any day.
To the new year ... I just want a more enjoyable one that will be a memorable one.

It felt like my life in 2009, was rushed. I did not like how last year seemed like it flew by faster then others. I hope 2010 slows down a lot because I turn 18 in less than two months now and ill graduate in May. Wow, time flew by!

I was frustrated in 2009. I failed in many job interviews, failed 3 times in driving test, lost a great amount of money in stock market... So I hope all the worst things go away in 2010.

Nothing too eventful, but a few really good times.
my birthday back in January was absolutely wonderful. my husband took me out for coffee, then to a gourmet candy store for chocolate covered fruit (strawberries and apples), and then to The Greek Garden for dinner, and my first taste of Ouzo. it was wonderful!!!!
Then in December, we finally had enough money to take a little vacation. We stayed the night at my favourite hotel in Toronto. Walker had never been there before, and had always wanted to see the place, so on Christmas morning we went there, and stayed the night. We didn't want to go on Christmas eve, because we like to celebrate Danish-German Christmas with a German friend of ours here in Guelph, and that was Christmas eve. :)
So from the beginning to the end, it was a wonderful year.

My life was very busy and hectic in 2009. We got quite a few things accomplished though, which was nice. We worked seven days a week in 2009 and will continue to do so in 2010. We are trying to get ready for my husband to retire.

2009 for me was a transition year for me but is one of the best, it was a turning point in my life. It is the year i was not paid well by my company. It was the time that our company was shaking at its best and eventually stopped by the first week of november. It was the first time i am not employed for more than seven years. It was the first time i established my own company and to live by faith and totally depended on God. It was scary and is still is. but the Joy of the change is inevitable. That is why it is my transition and I believe the beginning of better things to come.
I'm excited this coming new year.

Like one response here before me, 2009 has been very stressful. Financially it was difficult, because of the recession, which affected me personally. And because finances were affected, it lead to other thing being stressful. First time in my life I've had to make ends meet.
I hope I never have to go through this kind of stress in the coming year.
