What Do You Hope To Accomplish In 2010?

Hi everyone,
As we approach 2010, I was wondering what everyone out there on mylot hopes to accomplish? Are you looking forward to anything in particular?
I'm looking forward to hopefully finding a job, any kind, just to make ends meet since I'm having trouble right now money wise. I'm looking forward to my two blogs and graphics/layouts website in which I run with my best friend really take off as we've been working really hard on it the past couple of years. I'm determined to lose weight and get into better shape in 2010 as well, I say I'm going to do it every single year but I never stick with it, I'm tired of not doing as I say so this next year my foot goes down and I stick with it!! I'm basically looking forward to a fresh start of sorts since I moved out here to California from Rhode Island in September, it's been a tough 2009 but brighter hopes for 2010 and beyond : )

Hi Sahsports, time flies fast, today is the end of 2009. Well, some of the mission in 2009 have been completed but some were not. In this coming 2010, hopes that no any natural disaster happen. For myself, I hope can improve my English proficiency. Well, I can understand, speak, read and write English, but is not up to standard yet. So I need to really train myself to work harder in 2010, although I have been promised myself regarding this matter for many years. What's your website, could you personal message me and let me have a look on it.

Thanks for the response as well, and just work hard on your English and it'll be fine over time. Sure, I'll PM you, some of the links don't work yet because my best friend does all the coding herself so if you wonder if something doesn't work, we're adding a lot more so it takes time but you can always bookmark it and visit it from time to time as we add more. It's best viewed on a PC, with firefox or explorer, we haven't got a chance to test it on a Mac because we can't afford one lol but I will message you it in a minute

I am hoping to make more money for my boss so that I can earn more. By helping my boss earning more money, I can make her see my value to her and my long-term goal is not working for her all my life but establishing partnership with her so that I will build up foundation of my own career. Now I am busy thinking and thinking many trival things, in a word, I am changing my way of thinking and I hope I can practice this in my daily work. I must invest in some risky financial market in the new year so that I can learn from failure. NO giving is no receiving. I will overcome the fear of losing money because I am sure every rich man succeeds before he loses.

I wish you luck, you can do anything as long as you put your mind too it. Sometimes you have to give up something to gain something but it's all worth it in the end, or we all hope it is but you'll never know until you try, once again good luck next year with everything you do and thanks for the response.

You moved to California? how is it for you? my brother was out here and he's talking about moving back to Indiana because cost of living is high out there. Just curious on your take. But you asked a question. Well, I didn't accomplish much this year. No lie. I kind of took a break and didn't do much. but this coming year, recession or not, I'm doing something to make it a better year for me. My youngest graduates from high school and wants to go to college, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm free, to be honest, they have been making attempts at flying from the coop already so it's a matter of time.

Yes, I moved out here with my best friend but I have no choice but to try and make it out here because neither of us can afford to go back to Rhode Island. All our families are there but we can't afford to fly home, no one can afford to fly us back and even if we got home, we'd have no place to stay. With the economy no one would be able to take care of someone else. We moved out here because we were promised jobs which fell through, if we had known that would happen we would have stayed in RI where their are none because their aren't any here either. I like it here but than I don't, I can't see myself living here forever, and that's because where we moved here we didn't realize if you don't have a car your screwed, which we don't have one so we're up in this little town near mountains with nothing but fast food places.

Hi, I am looking to lose some weight and be much more healthy. And to make more money then I did last year. Looking to make more and great friends on and off line. To be able to make my home look the way I want it to inside and out. It takes lots of money to get a home to look the way you want it to. Happy New Year.

I want for my husband and I to have our own place this year and also have atleast one room fully furnished and decorated. That may end up being the kitchen, but well I'd feel that'd be the simplest as many people would buy things for the kitchen at a housewarming party.
I wish you luck in getting your house furnished the way you want. The theme my husband and I want for our home may end up being a bit expensive to buy for, we want our western themed. We already have some things though.

Your place sounds like it is going to be beautiful. I have one room very nice looking in my house but we are working on the rest of the house but it takes time and money to do. I have one room that is Victorian and has beautiful antiques in it and art. My kitchen on the other hand is going to have sunflowers and gingerbread men in it. I still have lots of planing to do. We have a family room we are trying to finish up to were we can play games in it.

Happy New Year!
2010 will be a more relaxed year for me. we're about to finish the loan on the third quarter of this year. It will be a great accomplishment for us. We will be getting a new house and hopefully a car too.
For the family, of course it will be a good health, inner peace and maintain the strong bond among the family members.
With work, accomplish the project successfully and be able to return to the US with the family now!

A car and house is one thing that my husband and I are hoping to achieve this year as well. A car we should be able to achieve, the house maybe not so much. We could get a car by just saving a few paychecks, but we'd like to get a loan so that we can build our credit. Then we'll pay on it and ask for a loan for a doublewide house.
Good Luck to you in getting a car and house, and for returning to the US. Though if your going to return to the US why would you need a car and house?

Hi friend, thanks for your comments. the house that we are dreaming can be here in our country or abroad. if ever we will be going to the US as a family, we want to have our own house there and a car too. so we are doing our best to earn some and finish our loan so we can focus on what we want to have this year and where we want to go too. god is good i know he will soon grant us what is best for us as a family!

i am hoping that my hubby gets a job this year. i am also hoping (like everyone else) to be able to make some more money this coming year too (either by crafting or doing other things online). i also hope that i can take care of my health issues (i am having thyroid issues right now) and lose a bit of weight that i have gained because of the thyroid issues.

I wish you the best of luck, I hope to find a job as well as pay bills and lose weight, I got tested for a thyroid issue but they said I don't have one, however I have a lot of trouble losing weight so this New Year I'm going to try my best to exercise and watch what I eat so I can lose weight and be healthier.

we've been staying with my in-laws for the past 7 years. i was the one working before so i never felt the problem until last august, my wife accepted a job offer in singapore, leaving me with our kids together with my in-laws. although i have nothing against them coz they're so kind and supportive, you cant really avoid the times when your decision is being interfered. so im hoping for us to have our own house this coming year. happy new year sahsports.

you're right sahsports4883. it's becoming tougher and tougher everyday. sometime small things are becoming big issues. everytime conflicts happen, im becoming more challenged and very eager to really have our own house the soonest time possible and live separately and peacefully. thanks for wishing me goodluck.

If I would compare myself the way I was in HS (I'm currently in college), there has been a lot of changes in me and I would admit that it ain't that good. In the past year 2009, I experienced the worst disappointment so far on myself. And despite of having that experience, I kept on repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Even if I know the things that I MUST do, I am doing things that I WANT to do. This coming year, I am hoping to change for the better. Doing the things that I SHOULD do, would already be a great accomplishment for me.

Hi, thanks for your response. Well, just stay positive and try to accomplish the changes you want to make in yourself and your life. I've had the same problem where I've made a mistake more than once even though I told myself I wouldn't, it happens but you hope you learn from it eventually and it never happens again.
Try to make a list and stick with it, it can help, I'm going to make a list for myself even though I do know what I want to do. Having the list in front of me might make a difference and help me out, we'll see.

Time passes by sooo..quickly...2010 is an hour from now (it`s 11 pm Jakarta`s time )..What i want to accomplish is..i want to improve my writing skill and try to write for some writing sites. I actually once got a writing job from one of the freelancer sites,i wrote about parenting tips (eventhough i`m still single),but the rate is too low,now i am writing product review for a website builder company. but at least i have experience in writing so i really wannna try to write for some writing sites and improve my skills..
I also want to earn money from online from teaching Indonesian online and translating..I like sharing and learning something..it broadens my horizon.I also want to get married ASAP (eventhough i must be relocated as my BF is not in Jakarta).

I'm looking at a job change for 2010...from my office job back to a manufacturing position. Also at going back to school and getting the ball rolling on a nursing degree. Hopefully my blog will get more traffic and I will be able to help some people out also :)

I plan to be healthy next year. I've been so stressed with everyday life that I have neglected myself for a long time. I will start living and eating healthy. If that means exercise and work outs, so be it!
If it means not eating my favorite junk food, so be it! Good luck to me.

I understand where your coming from, I've been stressed as well and neglected myself so I plan on getting healthier as well, my body sure needs it as do I mentally. I'll definitely have to cut down on the junk food, I love fruits and veggies, I just need to make sure I eat more and drink plenty of more water than I do now.

when the 2010 came,i will be grade four and have to prepare for the entrance exams for postgraduate schools.i don't know if it's very hard but i believe in myself and now i am considering about which school i want to go.so in 2010,my goal has been very clearly,and in this vacation i will have a good relex,and then,full- speed ahead.

Hi sahsports4883, Wish you a Super New 2010! It's been just about a month that I have been online doing different things on the internet, including partcipation in MyLot. In 2010, I hope to be online as well as at home a lot more compared to years gone by. In many years of working life I was required to travel extensively and be home for only short periods of time. Being on the internet for extended periods of time everyday in the last few weeks has made me realize that there is a possibility of a regular income from the internet too.
As the recession ends and the markets start picking up, organizations will also start opening up with good jobs. The era of mass layoffs will get over, hopefully not to return again soon. I am sure that you will be engaged in a job of your liking in the first few months if not weeks of the new year. Even when you do start working, be sure to continue your participation in MyLot. In the year 2010 I am looking forward into finishing all my bills and i want to have a really good year with my wife and kids they and my mom and dad my mom and dad ar the number one people i really love they are the greatesst parents i have ever had and the only parents i have ver had and my whife is the best to me she always is there for me and my wife is always the best for me and i just love her so much. anyways i am looking forward to finish my morgtage of my house and im looking to buy a house then sell it pur or rent it out.

Hi, thanks for the response! I wish you the very best of luck in everything you do and want to accomplish in the New Year!! I hope to pay off some if not all of my bills as well, first I need to find a job but I'd like to get out of debt as much as I can. That's cool about your house, it's always cool when you pay a mortgage off and buying a house and renting it is a great way to go, you can definitely make some extra money off of that.
