always go for soda in the restaurant?

i have realized, many of the people including me will go for soda when asking for drinks in the restaurant!! especially in the fast food!! and in many places, seem like soda is the only choice...well, at least so much soda was ordered, it gave the impression that soda is the only choice!
any of you do that?

It depends on my mood, or where I am at. For Asian food I usually get hot tea, if I eat at Olive Garden I ALWAYS get the peach tea. If I ever see that there is flavored iced tea or lemonade I usually go for that. Occasionally I do just go for water. But I do get soda some times, but I wouldn't say the majority of the time.
