Would you wish someone you didn't agree with dead?

No doubt if you live in America you've heard that Rush Limbaugh, a popular talk show host,is in the hospital because of chest pains. I've seen many, many comments on the story in various online newspapers that are wishing him death because of his views.
I don't like his show, I call him Rush Windbag. Much of my dislike is because of his on-air persona, which is very conceited and brash. But I certainly don't wish death upon him! I don't like our president either but I hope his good health continues.
Would you wish death on someone who doesn't agree with your politics?

No I don't think I could wish such a thing. Maybe for them to keep their opinion to themselves or be open to others opinions. But you know it's a fact of life that people get childish and wish such things in anger.

Yeah, they do get juvenile! These same sorts of people seem to be rational and nice, if a little far to the "left", until the name Limbaugh is mentioned then they seem to explode. I've known some people to the "right", too, that would start foaming at the mouth upon hearing Al Franken's name when he had a radio program.

You know I don't listen to national politics much beyond the local news. I don't really discuss too much unless it's w/ someone whom has a similar view on things as I do. There's no pleasing anyone there will never be a way to please everyone's political adgenda.

No I would not. I took the Rush challenge a while back after hearing so much out of the left about him my curiosity got the better of me and at first I found Rush offensive until I got what he was doing. His sarcastic language and shocking statements used to prove a point are actually quite affective and entertaining. Listen to Mark Levin sometime and he makes Rush sound like a kitten! Now I listen to him every once in a while because I find him funny. I listen to Obama too when he speaks out of curiosity. I strongly disagree with him however it's important to understand your leaders and understand their point of view. I would not wish ill on him or his family, however I hope that Rush makes a full recovery as although I disagree with him at times I think he pushing back for the millions of listeners who can not. Rush is a good man at heart also, has proven a charitable man, not a perfect man as no man is.

I have heard of his generosity, I just can't get past that on-air persona. Mark Levin is entertaining and very sharp. I, too, hope the Obama family remains healthy and thrives, I just want him out of that office because he's ruining the country. There are those that will argue that he's doing everything right and that's scary to me. But they have a right to say it and I don't hate them for it.
