The real Christmas day is in new year. Do you believe it?
Jesus was born in year-0 (zero). His birth day become central of world eras. As we know all histories tell the date in A.C. (After Christ) and B.C. (Before Christ).
Now we live in year-2010.
So why we celebrate Christmas in 25 December? Anyone know???

Lol, no I don't believe it because His actual birth year was around 6 to 4 BC. Sounds weird, but the Scythian monk that back dated the birth of Christ according years made and honest mistake. Given the fact Herod the Great had to be living, this pushes His birth year back some.
The very early Church never set a date to celebrate the incarnation of Christ. The Roman Church selected Dec. 25 --I think in the fourth century-- after they could not compete with a certain non-Christian festival--the name of which slips my mind.
Some Bible scholars feel, as I do, that the birth of Messiah occurred around the Feast of the Tabernacles, which usually occurs late September or early October. This based on the sequence found in the Gospel of Luke, starting the timeline at when Zecharias served in the Temple.
