Breakfast is the begining of day, how do you deal with it?

I like cooking, but I don't often cook or prepare for breakfast. When I get up in the morning I don't want to cook. If want to prepare for breakfast it is only simple food. I think many young people would not like to cook for breakfast. Even if a omelette. Most of time I go out to have breakfast near my office. Or I buy some fast food back and drink some milk. How about you? Do you like to cook or prepare for your breakfast?

This was very interesting to read what everyone said. ON AVERAGE I usually prepare some sort of eggs and cheese, pancakes, waffels, or breakfast sandwich 4 days a week and then 2 days I will make bacon or sausage with my breakfast, and then maybe one day go for the cereal or fast food. I have two small children though and I have to try and think of their health I guess because fast food is not the healthiest, if it was just me alone I would probably do the fast food more often :) I love having a nice breakfast though. It makes me feel like I started my day off right!

I love cooking breakfast simply because it's easy to make and can be very filling. I especially love it eating around lunch time. I know it's weird but I usually get up at lunch, I sleep through breakfast so I compensate it by eating breakfast at noon then eat lunch at around 3pm.

When I was in the university, i always skipped the breakfast for keeping fit, but my friends always tell me that such kind of living is harmful to my stomach. Now i accept the breakfast gradually, and i like my BF to have a good breakfast too. The problem i meet here is we are living with others togather in the rented house and every day we get up and go to work at the same time. So i often buy some simple food like bread, milks or soya-bean milk for our breakfast, or we eat outside on our way to office. But in the weekend, i will preapare a big breakfast.

I am like that too i dont like to cook first thing in the morning. Its just a relaxing time for me, grab coffee and newspaper. I think to myself if i make a cooked breakfast then i have to deal with dishes and cleaning up the mess. I do cook a breakfast every weekend for the family just because its nice to all sit down and have breakfast together. Durning the work week theres not enough time to cook breakfast morning is such a hurry to get everyone out the door on time.

I too prefer something simple. So it's usually toast or oatmeal. The oatmeal is quite easy. Place it in a microvable dish, add ample water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. I occasionally use a dash of nutmeg.
I can't afford to go out and eat for every breakfast and even if I did, I'd rather save time and stay home and cook it myself.
Oh, occasionally eggs-soft, hard, fried, or scrambled.

Hi,
I do understand how lazy we feel to cook in the morning. As you have mentioned that you like cooking, you can actually cook at the nights and put the food in refrigerators and have them in the morning.Else you can have healthy food stuff in mornings like oats in milk, fruits;dry fruits. They are healthy and are also recommended to have ideally in the mornings on an empty stomach.
Thanks
