Buying Monitor

Well i think buying Sharp monitor is better and normally LCD monitor last around 3 years before problems starts appearing .

Monitors are only as strong as the use of them. If you keep them off when not in use and dust them regurally they should last you quite a long time. When dusting make sure it is off, and use a damp lint-free cloth. This will keep it clean, and also prevent scratches and other flaws that may make it difficult to see out of. The rest is up to you. Play with your screan reslation because each system is different, and each monitor displays the pixiels in a different way. So settle for what's confertable for you.

Hi jeff,well i also possess a lcd/tft monitor which is of Proview,i bought it 2yrs ago....the price of that lcd/tft which was just of 15 inches was Rs 9000/- then....well i m using it for 2yrs no problem occured till now....but as the days passed monitors also started evolving now the best monitor is Sony Viera it is a Television and also have HDMI port for computer.really gr8 picture quality absolutely crystal clear.....but the only thing is the price is really high....if u want a good lcd/tft of 21 inches i wud suggest u to buy a Samsung Lcd which have a HDMI port for watching HD movies and videos.....The Price of that monitor will be Rs 13000/-....awesome quality and 2 frnz of mine bought the same monitor that i m talking about really it feels gr8 when we watch movie in his monitor...but on another thing that i wan2 say not realted to this topic u should also buy a Video Card to get the awesome quality from the monitor...clarity that tunrs crystal clear.....is bcoz of the video card.....else it will b clear but that crystal clear will not be achieved.and the life span of a monitor is more than 3yrs.....depends on how much time u r using it......but approx time of a monitor is 5yrs....after dat it is requested to change it even if it is running in good condition....hope this suggestion will help u a lot.....thank u and happy new yr......
