Making Money Through Blogging? Some Ideas?

Hell everyone,
I've been doing all sorts of things through the internet and have found a good way to earn money. I have found that you can earn money from blogging. of course I understand that blogging requires a lot of work especially if you want it to succeed.
So basically the first thing that I need to do is know what my blog will contain, obviously.
I have thought of music and playstation reviews because I love games and I know exactly how to write them and I have a rental shop near me. Unfortunately this may be a little hard to get all the categories and make it easy to find what games you want.
So the main reason of this discussion is so you guys could share your blogging experiences and perhaps to give me some pointers or maybe ideas on a blog. I am not afraid of lots of hard work!

Forget about Blogger. Take a self hosting blog with wordpress. There are some free webhosting ( just saw one zymic.com ) though you should be carefull as free often means bad quality but to get started that should be ok, when you'll make money you can then take a paid webhosting (That's what I've done).
If you need a lot of categories look for example at free wordpress template/plugin at articlesss.com

I just started this week and only received one offer. I think all of their admins are on vacation. Even those with low offers takes long to accept the bid.

What I mean is I just started recently and I haven't received any offers yet or my offers are not yet approved, maybe because the site admins that I'm bidding for reviews are on vacation.

I don't want to burst your bubble,
but blogging is not such a great way to earn money.
In fact I know people wich bloged for 3 years quality content
before gaining something to show up for it.
I also know people that have quit the blog job
long before they could see any gains.
Also when people say "have found a good way to earn money"
like you did just now, they are talking of stuff that already works for them,
and maybe about stuff that has already gained them lots of money.
Not to mention you already state you haven't decided yet what to blog about,
let alone started blogging yet. So, I'd say get started already,
blog about something, anything, and see how it goes,
you can decide if its what you want to do,
or if you want to change topics at a later time.
See if you are relly fit for this job first.
And do note things could get very busy and way boring at times,
and the gains might not do you justice.

thanks for letting me know your opinion I do know it's difficult and boring sometimes but I think this is what I want to do and I am going to start very soon after some planning.

Blogging involves a lot of hard work and you need to really hone your writing skills to attract viewers to follow your blogs regularly and eventually increase traffic to your site. Determining what to write about and the contents you'll write and supporting ideas. Then once you published it you then need to market your blog to potential viewers. Its good that you are willing to do the hard work for it and make sure to be patient with it as it involves diligence and perseverance. Wish you all the luck and God bless.

Hi,
Its true that we can earn a lot by blogging.But the key point is that there our articles should have good english,good content and intresting.Then blogging would be fun learning and also earning.

To get paid of your efforts from your blog depends upon the the page views your blog getting daily. How many people visit your blog daily? 1000 or more. You should acquire more traffic. Then only your efforts would be attended by people. Then it will bring revenue to your account. So, try your level best to get traffic. joining in popular forums like mylot, Digital point...etc will attract the attention of people interested in internet activities. Traffic Exchanges will boost your page views. Submitting to directories will improve your page rank and search engine friendliness. These are some ways to develop your blog earning. Hello Jose and thank you for sharing your tips. Some of these I did not know and once I get my blog underway I must remember to submit to directories.
