What is the worst thing that happened to you last 2009?

ohh gosh!!! with news like that on online shopping it made me more cautious in giving out my number and pin...it's crazy! 2009 is a good year for me but the typhoon that hit our country I can say is the worse event that happened to us. Until now are house is under renovation although it is almost done still few touch ups are still needed, I am thankful that no one of my family member got hurt or injured.

The worst for us was September 2009 when Typhoon Ketsana devastated our area. Our house were fully submerged with flood water. It took us almost two months to fully recover from that disaster. Thank goodness nobody got hurt in our family. But our construction supplies that we have for our house renovation didn't stand a chance, all of them wasted and can no longer be used.

The worst thing that happened to me in 2009 was almost dying after my baby daughter was born. I lost two and a half liters of blood and had four blood clots. I had a very low blood pressure and kept fainting. My body was so weak it was trying to shut down. I am sorry to hear that you got scammed when you bought something on-line. I wish you safer buying in the future. I bought a book on-line just before Christmas and yesterday I got another of the same book. I will phone the publisher because I don't wish to have two of the same title.

The worst thing that happened to me in 2009 was an online shopping experience as well.I ordered an antique tea cup trio from someone in the UK and the saucer of this set was broken when it arrived.Man I was so pissed off,the seller didn't bother to pad the book with at least old newspapers.Now I have to look around for a replacement since I can't be bothered buying another set.

my special child was confined for one week in the hospital due to wound infection. what traumatized me was the way those doctors handled my child and some of them abruptly deciding on what procedures should she undergo not even knowing the consequence of it even if i repeatedly told them about her case. they want to have an operation for that simple wound infection. what shocks me more is the general anesthesia! knowing the case of my special child, there is a big chance that she wont wake up once you put her to sleep using anesthesia. i even scold one doctor about it telling him if he has done his assignment regarding the syndrome. . i just dont want to talk about it any further. good day anneleia.

This year has not been kind to my car. It was taken to the shop a few times. The worst of it being the brakes went bad. So that was not too pleasant. A close call that thankfully did not turn out as badly as I expected was my computer. It refused to turn on but thankfully it was easily fixed without losing too much, if any, information at all. That's really all that comes to mind for me for 2009.

The worst thing happen to me in the last year is the fight between a friend and me, and we have not gotten through yet.

Hi Anneleia, sorry for your loss of money that u had but think it positively it made you more smarter now...^_^.,About worst things that happened to me in 2009 was that i lost my Mother till now it was the worst disaster of my life to see my mother die in front of my eyes.............this year was really bad for me but it made me learn many things as i always look on the brighter side as i am always an Optimistic Person..... My request to you & all mylotter Friends is that you should always think in Positive way because we are Humans & we only can change the things & situation we are the most developed creatures..so respest your life as huma & never get upset be POSITIVE.....^_^

Many worst things happened in 2009 whatever it's pain or gain , each of us has our own painful and sad expericence respecting your love and job or your life.The way in which we deal with them is different but what is important is how we pick ourselves up and stand tall again.

Worst thing that happened to me in 2009 was my Aunt dieing a few days before christmas from lung cancer.

The year 2009 itself was so bad that I cannot single out one worst incident. Firstly, at office we had no increment and bonus, secondly my father-in-law fell down and dislocated his knee-cap, thirdly hubby’s job was in a very shaky state, fourthly we had planned our annual vacation and paid all the hotels and all but could not go ultimately for some reason…so all in all, a very negative year for me.

Not having enough money to pay my bills was the worst thing that happened to me this year. I'm ending the year at negative 60 dollars. Yet I still have to pay my bills. I'm hoping I have enough money to pay my bills this year. I hope that and nothing worse happens this year to me.

the wrost thing happen in my life in the last year when i was unable to clear my Internal job promotion and was the best at that time in my office

*My migraine/facial numbness incidents which led to my E.R. visit, which I still owe $600+ for. I have to pay all of that money (CATScan, etc.), and they still couldn't give me a real answer as to why I would get migraines and facial numbness. :( *I did a paid modeling shoot, and afterwards the photographer sneaked away without paying me. Oh, I was PISSED. *The sudden ending of my friendship with a guy I really bonded with over the summer. He was a sweetheart and had feelings for me (a gentleman), but he was very shy and was dealing with his own emotional issues.

For me the worst thing in 2009 is the price rising of the housing in China. It was a crazy rising like rocket and makes our civilians much harder to have their own nest.

I have not received my Increment in salary this year 2009. I suffered from JAUNDICE, and had to take bed rest for 33 days.
