I use AVG anti-virus, its good and can be download for free. You can also try Kaspersky anti-virus, it has a one month trial for free.

If you wanna use a free solution, I recomend Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). It's free (of course) and very efficient.
Well, a paid solution... Of course I recomend Kaspersky. Your database of virus is amazing.
So, choice a solution. :)

McAfee is among the best antiviruses out there in the market. There are very few trojans that can really bypass the security system of McAfee if you update your virus definitions regularly. The only drawback is that McAfee takes up a lot of RAM and this can cause your computer to slow down at times, if you do not have good configuration.

I think of all the antivirus software out there, Avast is the best for me. I used Norton for a very long time, but I got tired of paying the subscription in order to be able to keep it updated, and it got to the point, it really didn't do a very good job of catching the viruses. It seemed fine at first, but then it just wasn't effective anymore. I have used AVG too, but I didn't like it all that much, so I decided to uninstall it and put Avast on my laptop, and I have no problem with it at all, and I really like it. And hey, it is free so why not? Take care, and happy mylotting.

I was advised by my best friend to get the free addition of avg. It offers protection, and your computer will continue to run smoothly. I recently installed it and the software doesn't clog up my system like previous paid anti-virous programs do. But shop around, and make your system is clean before installing anything. Best to do it on a clean install of windows.

I'd like Nod 32. It's fast and save and so easy to handle it. It seems that there's some website can teach you how to use it half a year through some official way.
