What's the real defination for a COMPUTER?

There is no real "right" or"correct" deffenation for the tearm computer. However What I can give you is what my teacher spouted off at me some years ago. Computer: A machine comprized of circuts and chips that gives one the ability to do work in a more orgnized setting. Or something like that. This dates back of course when computers were wall-mounted units comperized of lights and switches and used punch coded sheets to comprize data. Now its much smaller, and is able to do so much more.

A computer is a machine that turns 0s and 1s into useful programs and information.

One of the greatest inventions of 20th century. This is a gadget used to communicate, read,write,listen to music,TV,shopping,many more apps and connected with millions of computers through satellites.So simply it is a "MAGIC BOX".

Wow, now that is an interesting question! For me, a computer is truly too many things for me to select a single definition...but if only one is allowed, then I shall say it is a tool. :) Karen

Computer is nothing but a semi idiot box,it has good number of applicatons ,uses like help you have your own account,startinternet there ,or whatever you want to do you can do,but similar number of disadvantges like it makes some of the students crazy for game,some others disadvantage are also there.
